Each year, the EY Reimagining Industry Futures study investigates global enterprises’ adoption of transformative technologies and their interactions with ICT suppliers. For the 2026 report, the findings were showcased and debated in a lively panel discussion at MWC26 — where industry leaders validated several of the study’s powerful insights.
| First, the rising importance of digital sovereignty and trust: 74% of organizations are reassessing their technology choices and roadmap because of digital sovereignty considerations. | |
| Second, the way evolving supplier ecosystems are spurring new demands: 82% of enterprises will prioritize vendors who can clearly articulate their role in these ecosystems. | |
| Third, the growing need for ICT providers to improve B2B customers’ experience. More than half want higher-quality after-sales service experiences and better access to suppliers’ experts and partners. |
Overarching and linking all of these shifts is the advance of AI from promise to execution, spearheaded by agentic AI solutions. Some 78% of enterprises are aiming to harmonize their investments in GenAI and agentic AI.
These are just a few of the compelling findings in our study. Based on a survey of 1,590 enterprise customers, it offers actionable insights to help develop and refine your B2B strategy. To learn more, fill out the form to download the full report.
