Tax Accounting University (TAU) is Ernst & Young LLP’s educational program for in-house tax and accounting department personnel, which is designed to provide hands-on learning and technical knowledge in tax accounting. You’re invited to join us for our course offering Tax Accounting 301: Financial Accounting for Foreign Currency and Outside Basis Differences.

Accounting Standards Codification (ASC) 740, Income Taxes, includes financial accounting and reporting guidance for the effects of income taxes that result from an entity’s activities during the current and preceding years. This course covers select areas in tax accounting including financial accounting for foreign currency, and outside basis differences of entities that are not subsidiaries. Tax Accounting 301 courses are intended for professionals with significant prior experience in income tax accounting.

TAU courses are taught by our leading tax accounting professionals. The class is approximately two-hours in length, and participants will receive continuing professional education (CPE) credit in accounting. The course is complimentary – there is no registration fee and no charge for the course materials.

Who should attend:

Tax and accounting professionals with significant prior experience in income tax accounting.

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
